Britons splash cash at Swimming Australia's best

AUSTRALIA is facing a mass exodus of its top swimming coaches and Swimming Australia is powerless to stop it. International coaches Stephan Widmer, Michael Bohl, Denis Cotterell, Ken Wood, Australian head coach Alan Thompson and Shannon Rollason have all been offered big bucks to head elsewhere.More from the Herald Sun

Gilford to host popular Timberman until 2011

The agreement with the Town of Gilford to host the Timberman Triathlon
every August has been extended at the request of the events promoter
and organizer Keith Jordan. The
original agreement extended until 2008, and now with the Selectmen
voting unanimously to extend that by three years Gilford will be host
to this now world class event at least until 2011.

Shanna Armstrong became Ultraman's first four-time world
champion with the second best in history women's Ultraman overall time
of 26:43:24 - second only to the 25:45:51 mark set by Tina Bischoff in
